Baie de Oro, Ile des Pins, New Caledonia

November, 2000... We were a bit reluctant to make our way into the reefy, tide-locked anchorage at Oro. But after Magic Dragon told us how Oro was their favorite spot of all around Isle of Pines we got up our courage. The tricky bits of entry through and around the Oro reefs were a small entry fee for the most beautiful anchorage we've yet seen!
