We set out from Kuto at 0600 for Baie de Citrons.
We set jib and reacher on starboard gybe. This downwind configuration sets very nicely, though the jib is about 35 deg by the lee by AWA and 24 deg by TWA.
The downwind rig viewed from dining table. Very smooth, no rock and roll.
We sailed back to Noumea at 7 to 8kn on reacher only (as we've taken the old mainsail off the boat)
Kite boarders having some great fun off of Anse de Vata. One got a couple meters of air right in front of ADAGIO - but didn't have the camera ready.
Board sailer sequence at Isle aux Canards as we return to Nomea.
Sunset from our anchorage in Baie des Citrons
Sunset from our anchorage in Baie des Citrons. No green flash tonight - though we tried a motor-drive sequence on the Canon SLR.
It's Sunday evening, so there is a string of yachts across the horizon heading back to their Noumea berths.
